Pursuant to the Australian Copyright Act 1968, notifications of claimed copyright infringement should be directed to the WAI Australian National President.
To be effective, the notification must be a written communication that includes the following:
A physical or electronic signature of person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed;
Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works at that site;
Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material;
Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact the complaining party, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an electronic mail address at which the complaining party may be contacted;
A statement that the complaining party has a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.


If any provision of these terms shall be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from these terms and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions. This is the entire agreement between you and WAI AUSTRALIAN CHAPTER INCORPORATED relating to the subject matter herein and shall not be modified except in writing as a posted change made by WAI AUSTRALIAN CHAPTER INCORPORATED or in a document signed by both parties.
WAI AUSTRALIAN CHAPTER INCORPORATED shall have the right to terminate access to this site immediately with our without notice to you if such termination is necessary for WAI AUSTRALIAN CHAPTER INCORPORATED, in its reasonable, good faith judgment, to avoid liability or to prevent a service interruption from the service providers that provide access or other telecommunication services to WAI AUSTRALIAN CHAPTER INCORPORATED.
