Australian Chapter Scholarship Awards (x3)

These awards are designed to financially assist a current WAI Australian chapter member to achieve any commendable aviation endeavor by providing financial support towards training or for educational materials. There are three (3) scholarships to be awarded:

• Scholarship award of $7500
• Scholarship award of $5000
• Scholarship award of $2500

The Australian Aviation Museum 2020 Scholarship

This award of $5000 is designed to financially assist a current WAI Australian chapter member to achieve any commendable aviation endeavor by providing financial support towards training or for educational materials.

PanAir Flight Training Scholarships (x2)

This award is designed to financially assist a current WAI Australian chapter member with fixed wing flight training costs associated with gaining any level of flying proficiency from RPL/PPL through to the CPL by providing $2000 dollar for dollar flying training. The flight training will be conducted by PanAir Flight Training in Bathurst, NSW.

PanAir On-line Theory Training Scholarships (x2)

This award is designed to financially assist two current WAI Australian chapter members with the cost of aviation flight theory courses. These courses have been designed to give students an in-depth understanding of the subject matter to pass the CASA flight training theory examinations. The scholarship will provide $500 towards the on-line theory content for any aviation flight training theory courses provided by PanAir Flight Training.

TRISTAR AVIATION IREX Theory Scholarships (x2)

This award is designed to financially assist two current WAI Australian chapter members with their aviation pursuits by providing attendance to an IREX theory training course at TRISTAR AVIATION. This course has been designed to give students an in-depth understanding of the subject matter to pass the CASA flight training theory examination. The value of the scholarship provided is $1495.

CO Gear and WAI Australia Inclusive Clothing Kit Scholarship

This award is designed to support a current WAI Australian chapter member with access to work clothing and safety boots designed for women to support gender inclusivity within the aviation industry.

This award is aimed at WAI Australia members who are employed or working towards a role in aviation which requires the wearing of safety boots and Cargo pants such as engineering and ground operations. The award will also include a 12-month individual membership to both WAI International and WAI Australia.

The value of the scholarship provided is approximately $330-$500.

The Australian Society of Air Safety Investigators (ASASI) Student Membership Scholarship

This award is designed to assist a current WAI Australian chapter member in pursuing their interest and open possibilities into a career in Aviation Safety, Accident Prevention, and Investigation by providing a Student Membership to the Australian Society of Air Safety Investigations (ASASI).

The value of the scholarship provided is $80

The Australian Society of Air Safety Investigators (ASASI) Full Membership Scholarship

This award is designed to assist a current WAI Australian chapter member in achieving their commendable aviation endeavour in the field of Air Accident Investigation and/or Aviation Safety Management by providing a Full Membership to the Australian Society of Air Safety Investigations (ASASI).

This award is aimed towards WAI Australia members who have existing experience in Aircraft Accident Investigation /Aviation Safety Management Experience who will be eligible to meet the ASASI membership requirements.

The value of the scholarship provided is $160

Flightdeck Consulting Coaching & Mentoring Package Scholarship (x2)

This award is designed to assist a current WAI Australian chapter member in advancing her career through a personalised one on one Coaching and Mentoring package.

The package can be used to assist anyone who requires career mentoring, is preparing towards gaining their first job, or are preparing for an airline interview.

The value of this scholarship is over $900,

As it will be delivered virtually the package can be conducted anywhere in Australia.
